Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Karate and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
Michael Murphy (4th degree Black Belt)
Sensei Michael Murphy began his martial arts journey at the age of nine. He opened his school in the spring of 1997. His passion for the arts is second to none. He has studied under many great master instructors and currently holds the rank of 4th degree Black Belt. Sensei Murphy has been inducted into THE WORLD MARTIAL ARTS FEDERATION HALL OF FAME as their 2009 YOUTH INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR. Sensei Murphys patience and persistance has achieved amazing results for students with ADD, ADHD, focus issues and other physical disabilities. His love of the martial arts eminates in his teaching style. Sensei Murphy also runs a program for the ARC of Greater Plymouth teaching special needs students and their siblings the benefits of the martial arts.
